Yellowstone National Park

Things To Do Around The Greater Area

Livingston is near the only open-year-round driving entrance into Yellowstone National Park (the north entrance at Gardiner, MT). Settled in a valley along the Yellowstone River and surrounded by four mountain ranges (the Bridgers, Gallatins, Absarokas, and the Crazies), Livingston is the perfect outdoor enthusiast’s playground.  We like to call Yellowstone National Park our neighborhood park, because of its close proximity, making day trips into the park a wonderful way to enjoy a national treasure.

Speaking of National Parks, Montana has not just one, but two!  Glacier National Park is just 6 hours to the northwest of us.  Make it a hiking adventure and come stand on a glacier.  Walk the same trails as bighorn sheep, and whistle back to the pikas.  Allow a lot of time to capture this one of a kind gem in all its photographic splendor.  So make sure to include it on your Montana itinerary.
